Annual Dig City Event. Second Annual Book Fair. The Trent Green Family Foundation’s 2nd Annual Book Fair is this Saturday, April 18th from 10 -3. We have a fun day of family-friendly events ready for you and your family to enjoy – including face painting, balloon animals, and story hour with Trent Green and his friends. Annual Dig City Event. Throughout the month of June, one dollar from every No. 1 combo at Dickinson Theatres was collected for the Trent Green Family Foundation’s HIKE reading achievement program … and tomorrow $15,000 will be donated! Along with the amazing $15,000 donation, movie patrons also donated countless books to HIKE that will benefit Kansas City kids in need. Thank you to Dickinson Theatres and the people of Kansas City! Annual Dig City Event. In 2013, the Trent Green Family Foundation began a five-year commitment with Phoenix Family to launch the HIKE Reading Achievement Program. HIKE (which stands for Help Instill the Key to Education) provides expert instruction, academic support and educational resources to improve the reading level of more than 2,000 low-income children in Kansas City.
