Ya sure are big! I celebrated my birthday here tonight with a show at Little Montreal in Sudbury, our last Ontario show on this tour. Coming up we have a stacked load of enormous drives. Tonight we hope to be in Thunder Bay, the next night Winnipeg, next night Regina. September Tour - Coleman, Alberta. Well, my dearest friends, it is with great pleasure that I announce that we are having a great time on tour! Currently we are in Coleman, Alberta at the Blackbird Coffee house. We had a great show here last night. Such an amazing building! It is a church that has been converted into a coffeeshop/house. Well folks, I swear it was up there for a couple days, but our nomination for a CFMA turned out to be a mix-up, as we didn't quite meet the requirements for the category. Consider this as foreshadowing for next year. Congrats to everybody anyway! Of the formerly CFMA nominated band "Fish and Bird". Swimming in the Supe! Greetings from Robin's Donuts in the middle of nowhere. We had a wonderful house concert at the Rock Island Lodge near Wawa, Ontario last night next to the crashing waves of Lake Superior, and stayed up late on the beach drinking wine, laughing, and talking about some quasi intellectual bullshit. Incredibly refreshing to be here after so many days of the rest of Ontario. We are lucky lads. Me, Adam, Jude, Steph , Graham, Meg (who we picked up in Halifax and gave a ride to Ottawa).
