The Gorton's: "Full Term"
http://jeffandheatherdawn.blogspot.com/2010/09/full-term.html
Sunday, September 12, 2010. So here was us last week.37 week, which is considered "full term"! We could go in to labor any day from now to October 3rd and it will be safe! We had an ultrasound last week and she was weighing in at 6 lbs. She's a tiny little thing, but feels more like a watermelon in my belly! I'm 38 weeks now, so we have only 2 weeks left until the "due date"! I've definitely been doing a little bit of nesting, and I think Jeff has been too a little bit. I think Jeff looks great in it!

Lone Star Family: April 2015
http://lonestarcouple.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Kendall gets her ears pierced! We kinda of have a tradition in my family of the girls getting their ears pierced at a young age. I'm talking like before they are a year old. I had mine done when I was just a few months old and had planned to do that with Kendall but decided to wait until a few months after her cochlear implant surgery. So at 14 months old off we went to Sweet and Sassy. To have her ears pierced! Sweet girl had no idea what was coming :(. Before you call CPS on me. Monday, April 27, 2015.

Lone Star Family: Play Ball!!
http://lonestarcouple.blogspot.com/2014/12/play-ball.html
This summer we decided it was a good time to sign Kemper up for T-Ball. He's five, a perfect age to start right? Apparently I didn't get the memo that you're supposed to sign your kid up for sports while still in utero. Turns out K was the only kid on the team that had not previously played before. Most of the others had been playing for at least two years! We took him to the park down the street to test out his batting skills. He was a natural with a really good swing! A few games into the season Kemper...

The last step in our cochlear implant candidacy process was to get an MRI. They needed to make sure that her cochleas and auditory nerves were fully developed. We were not too nervous about getting these results since we already knew that a flawed Connexin 26 gene was the cause of her hearing loss, but we still had to rule out any other causes. She was such a champ and had no issues at all. The only problem we had was trying to keep all the medical equipment out of her mouth! When Kemper had his MRI.

Lone Star Family: Kemper turns 5

You wear 3T, 4T &5T clothing. You are a skinny yet tall little boy. You need the waist of a 3T-4T but need the length of a 5T. Finding clothes that fit is a challenge. You don't eat much, we joke that you are on an air diet. Playing is more important I guess. Your favorite food is pizza with TONS of parmesan cheese. You love to watch Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, any Disney movies, and the Despicable Me movies. You are amazing when it comes to electronics. The "spider web" was a hit. I didn't want to spend ...

Tummy Tracker 37-38 weeks. Lost some weight this week and it's been several weeks since I have put any on . Must be with the gestational diabetes diet . No sugar and little carbs. do make a difference. My doctor is okay with this since the baby is still gaining weight. Yep, but as much as I don't like them I'm really not looking forward to having to wear nursing tops . I remember hating having to plan your outfit around a top that had easy access to your boobs ;). Am I in early labor? The swelling in my ...
