Well, unless you count a huge double bunk bed playhouse custom made by their dad ( with woodworking advice and help provided by Uncle Jimmy. Friday, March 18, 2011. Puerto Rico Ironman 70.3 and Family Vacation. This was a BIG trip. Kris and his Tri buddies signed up for the inaugural Texas Ironman in May 2011. To prepare for the event, they wanted to schedule a half Ironman sometime in the spring, but wanted to make a family trip out of it. They decided on the Puerto Rico Ironman 70.3 over Spring Break.
