Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Here is the 'list' of Islands that I was talking about last post that, I or John and I have kayaked around. If you are wanting to check a map, most of these islands are in the area from the San Juan Islands north to Desolation Sound, quite a few are in the Gulf Islands, some very small others were big enough to pack a lunch and spend the day paddling around. The scenery is beautiful everywhere. This is in Princess Louisa Inlet. Look at the hitch hiker I picked up!

Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Post number 4 - more about day to day. John made the hike to his geo cache on the hill to the south end of the beach. All good up there, lots of visits to the cache - and the reward for making the hike up the mountain is the fabulous view of the bay! The first picture is the island I am always talking about. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Summer 2014 - busy times indeed! The is a recap of our summer adventures! The weather made the sailing trip fantastic - warm water in Desolation Sound = daily swimming.we were 6 weeks on board Puffin.visited all of our favourite spots again this year, and met up with a few old friends and made a few new ones too. Monday, April 8, 2013. So many picture to choose from to depict our trip north. We chose a route through Arizona and Utah before we headed north west to home. We enjoyed our visits to the National Parks in the last few years it was an easy choice to visit another couple of parks again this year. After leaving the beach we stopped at our usual spots along the way - the boulder fields of Catavinia are so beautiful . And of course the sand dunes and miles long beach at El Pableon (just south of San Quintin).

Sunday, January 27, 2013. If you have been following along you know we are waiting for tires for the trailer - gone through both spares already.Yay! The truck arrived this afternoon. Were you imagining a semi-trailer truck with a load? I washum.We arrive just as the pick up truck was backing into the shop, so we'll wait while they mount the tires on the rims. Sunday, March 17, 2013. The last few days - or - How many farewell dinners can you have? Actually quite a few if you are one of the last to leave the beach! Lots of goodbyes and see you next years. The weather is now hot, and the sting rays are in the shallows, the bo-bo flies are plentiful, so it must be time to go. A visit to the tire shop in Loreto for a set of new truck tires - yes, more tires. A wash and wax from Dante. Time for one last paddle before we pack up the boats. It's a very popular spot.

Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Late Summer and Fall. It must be time to get ready for winter -. This is 'Silver' (sometimes we call him Houdini) munching on my nice flowers! We are very sure this rabbit is not one of the wild varieties - would someone really let their pet go? He (or she) is so tame we can hand feed him. And here is 'Unicorn', (one big long antler, one short stub) he and his friend enjoyed every last plum on our tree! All they left us were the pits. Posted by John and Deb. On the Road.Again.
