Road to Bikini: My Fitness Journey. You are all going to laugh at me but I’m super excited about my new Isobag that I just got! Basically my new lunch box. The Isobag is a glorified lunchbox that fits. That’s right, 6 meals, and waters.annnnd protein shakes 💕💪. The bag comes with multiple containers for meal prepping too. I love it! I’m tempted to even bring it to work but it’s hard to compete with someone’s “Dior” bag lunch box at work. So, looks like I will be enjoying myself some 6. April 11, 2014.

Road to Bikini: My Fitness Journey. I have been slacking with my posting! Things have been getting very busy with the house building under way and trying to manage my time between the gym, work and having a sick family member! My parents left for Florida so I am on my own for the next week! That meant that I had to do my own meal prep for 4 days on at work since I work 12 hour shifts and wouldn’t have time before or after work! I went to visit her yesterday and followed that with a cardio session.

Road to Bikini: My Fitness Journey. Today’s gym session was a HIIT! Literally. I am 5 weeks post-op and I decided that today was the day I cleared myself to get back into my HIIT training routine and start hitting the gym 5-6 days a week as I was doing before surgery. I had a very successful workout today and it felt great! It was shoulders and abs day today. Not fun! I was nearing the end of my shoulder workout when I witnessed a guy at the gym squatting a wimpy 405 lbs! Decline bench situps with weight.

Road to Bikini: My Fitness Journey. Drinking water is probably one of the simplest ways to improve your health. Realistically, you should be drinking at least a gallon of water a day. My co-workers and I have been up for the challenge all week and we have been pretty successful! Today was a bit harder for me to consume all 8 bottles that I strive for every day because I had the day off and I didn’t have my friends to keep me on track at work! I’ve completed 4 days of this challenge. Try one day!
