Sarah's Triathlon Adventure: April 2012
http://sarahtriadventure.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 23, 2012. Moving on to a new chapter. Started a new blog. A Tumblr, no less. I had to actually google "what is a Tumblr? To finally understand why I might want to use that, over, say, another Blogger site. But it seems to fit with where I'm at. Minimal site design. Easy to post from my phone. Less emphasis on text, more on substance. I like it. So I did it. Just do your best. But that's the point - you gave up a lot in time, money and other opportunities (like sleeping in! Probably a mixtur...

Sarah's Triathlon Adventure: Where I’m at…where I’m headed
http://sarahtriadventure.blogspot.com/2010/02/where-im-atwhere-im-headed.html
Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Where I’m at…where I’m headed. I finally cracked open The Cyclist's Training Bible. Basically I'm gonna go back to basics. I'm doing a 6-week thing with Tone Fitness. Since they're a sponsor and I got a good deal. They're going to help me work out my alignment issues, which we're now thinking is a big source of my quad and calf pain. I realized I DO like to run - when it doesn't hurt! I get ‘homework’ to do and I come home all sore! I know this isn’t the first time IR...

Sarah's Triathlon Adventure: Update
http://sarahtriadventure.blogspot.com/2012/01/update.html
Thursday, January 12, 2012. I’m going to start writing again. I don’t really have the amount of time that I used to, but in order to get back into writing, you have to just keep doing it. I miss writing and now that I actually have some goals again, I feel a need to express my thoughts and feelings about the new adventure I’m on. When I have some more time, I’m looking to redesign the blog as well. But here’s what’s up in 2012:. 2 I want to do the Marin Century. I can actually run again without pain....

Lee's Life Adventure: March 2014
http://www.leeslifeadventure.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 1, 2014. Big Rides, Big Climbs in 2014. As I sit here drinking coffee on a cloudy and rainy Saturday morning I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to brave the elements on the road or ride in the comfort of my garage. I hate riding the trainer so I’m thinking the road is going to win this one. Here’s what I’m thinking about so far. Now, admittedly some of these may not happen but this is what I’m considering as of today. April 13th – Bottega Gran Fondo. June 8th – Mendocino Monster. You ca...

Lee's Life Adventure: Barista Training
http://www.leeslifeadventure.com/2015/02/barista-training.html
Sunday, February 8, 2015. In 2012, Sherry and I spent 3 weeks in Italy and part of that time was in Florence. The few days we were in Florence left us wanting much more. Now, we’ve returned with an 11-day visit dedicated to learning the secrets of Florence. The goal for this trip was to go beyond the Uffizi, the David, and the Duomo and really get to know the city. As we were researching things to do we stumbled across something on TripAdvisor. Gabriele showing his technique. After making us coffees, the...

Going For Goofy: May 2013

Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Wildflower Olympic Tri - Weekend and Race Recap. Haven't had the opportunity, time or reason to do a race report since last October. And since my boss is on vacation for a few days and the day job has eased for about 30 seconds, I get a moment to write a little (or a lot, actually) about last weekend's Wildflower Olympic Tri. With a few other folks coming down with colds, I was dubbed 'Outbreak Monkey'. I didn't have to share it with dolphins! Friday was meant to be a chill, pre-r...
