Fitness Vs. Food. Friday, January 1, 2016. New Year. New You (or me). So tonight I set out to start again. I put on my finisher shirt from Ironman Canada. After all, if I can do an ironman, certainly I can handle thirty minutes on the treadmill, right? And on went the shoes. I probably need new shoes, as these ones are getting old, yet they haven't actually gone too far due to that lack of motivation, so for now, thy will have to do. Today's weight: 194.9lbs. Today's distance: 3.34km. At least I hope so!

I mean, I know we all go through ups and downs, but this down just seems to be lasting forever, and I'm really not happy with that. So, I should probably start by saying I've never met Eminem, don't even neccessarily like him, and listening to too much of his music in a row is a bit much for me, but wow, he has some very powerful songs. After that, one day while running at work, someone was playing their exercise playlist and "Not Afraid" came along. I instantly recognized it was Eminem and the song just clicked with me. Fitness Vs. Food. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Well, that was a pretty successful week. Managed to get in a 45 minute swim (for some reason you practically have to drag me to the pool kicking and screaming), my first outdoor ride, the eight minute test on Trainer Road, a 7km run, two more 4km runs, and then tonight was another hour on the bike. That was about 7 hours of training. Not too bad! This Ironman training needs to stay consistent now though. No more falling off the band wagon! Sunday, April 8, 2012.

He finished strong and had a smile on his face. It was awesome. Truly. Friday, May 31, 2013. I can't believe our 30-Day Challenge is OVER! It went by so quick, and yet, not really! It was a fun month for me though. It was good for me to count my calories again and get me back on track (and off that much sugar! I did not hit my original goal! I DID however, lose 8 POUNDS and managed to keep it all off! So I am happy with losing 8 pounds in 30 days! Now I just need to lose 11 more pounds to be at my ideal body weight! Anyone up to another 30 day challenge? Have a great day!
