The story of Tim, Sarah, Asher, Eva, and Elise in Iowa. Friday, July 22, 2011. It is a hot, humid night in tropical Iowa, after a week stuck in the heat wave that has covered most of the country. Most of the week, it felt like 110-115 degrees outside, and it was nasty. I had a fever on top of that for part of the week, which was no fun at all. I feel much better now, though. It is a great contest with a beautiful setting and about 70 of the best BBQ teams in the country. I can't wait. Yeah, its hot.

Turning two (Eva loved her birthday, her presents, and her cake). Being the "pear tree" prop for Mommy in a music program at school (she only LOOKS like she's wearing a Christmas Tree costume). Wishing you could be in the music program like your big sister. Waiting in line with Daddy or. Waiting in line with your big brother to see.

So much is going through my head, "will he do okay? Will they take good care of him? Will he learn a lot? Will he still love his momma?
