Life With Kids: That Took Long Enough
http://amyjamey.blogspot.com/2011/06/that-took-long-enough.html
Thursday, June 9, 2011. That Took Long Enough. It only took me 11 months to finish blogging about that road trip. Somehow, life just gets busy and blogging goes way down on the list of priorities. I'm now going to post pictures of what has been happening since that trip. I probably won't write much, so that I can get them posted quickly and somehow get this thing up to date. Thursday, June 9, 2011. Summer Road Trip Part 6: San Jose. After a fun day on the coast, we headed to San Jose to see some friends from my childhood. We met my mom at the hotel, and settled in for a few relaxing days. The kids and I went to Logan's birthday party. He's the son of my high school best friend, Amy. It was great to visit with her and her family, and see my other girlfriends from high school. The second picture's lighting is bad because my camera was still on the aquarium setting.). No other ...

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Summer Road Trip Part 5: Monterey. After our nice visit with Aunt Allee and Uncle Alan, my mom and I parted ways. She rented a car and went to visit a friend from high school and attend a reunion. I had a free day, with no where to be, so I packed up the car and headed to the coast. We went to Monterey to visit the aquarium and have a little fun. In hind sight, I wish I would have just found a nice beach to play on all day, but we had fun and spent too much money! A neighbor ...

Life With Kids: January 2010
http://amyjamey.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 7, 2010. Happy New Year 2010. We had our usual family New Year's Eve party. We watch a movie (being sure to end by 9:00 so Dylan doesn't fall asleep), play lots of board games, and eat lots of yummy junk food (including our favorite, chocolate fondue.) My sister Kim and her family were going to join us from Tennessee, but her baby was sick and they had to stay home. We sure missed them. Making our party hats. Plenty of board games to get us to midnight. Good food is always required.
