25 juillet, 2010. 이 곳에 도착하고 안지 얼마 되지 않은 K양이 파리로 쓩 가버렸다. 내가 살고 있는 오베르쥬 3층엔 한국사람들이 몇몇 거주하고 있다. 역시나 안지 얼마 안되었다지만, 함께하면 언제나 즐겁고 너무나 편한 존재자들. Mlle K que je connaissais peu de temps après etre arrivée est partie pour Paris. Comment dire, , quel est ce sentiment? Au 3eme étage dans l'auberge ou j'habite, il y a plusieurs monde Coréens. Je les ai aussi fait la connaissance depuis court temps, cependant ils sont très sympas que j'adore! Il n'y a rien d'éternité'. 고등학교 때 첫사랑을 미국으로 떠나보내고 그 심연의 울적함에서 한동안 벗어나지 못했더랬다.

21 juin, 2010. 머나먼 유럽의 땅을 밟은지도 16일이 지났다. 지금은 프랑스의 큰 축제 중 하나인 Fête de la musique가 열리고 있다. 여기는 해가 늦게 지므로, 9시에 나가도 오후 3시인 기분이다. 그간 듣기만 듣던 축제이므로, 궁금증이 이루 말할 수 없을 정도였기에 무작정 나갔다. 얼마전에 동네 잡지에서 fête de la musique에 대한 상세한 내용을 좀 훑어봤기에,. 신나는 음악도 좋지만, 유럽에서 잔잔하고도, 신나는 재즈를 듣고 싶어서 Beaux-Arts에 갔다. 벤치에 가만히 앉아서 연주의 선율을 따라서 하늘을 올려다 보았다. 내가 유럽에, 프랑스 땅에 있다는게 실감이 났다. 아직 보름밖에 지나지 않았지만, 시간이 상당히 많이 흐른 기분이다. 나는 여태 혼자였고, 아마도 앞으로도 혼자일 것 같다는 생각에 잠깐동안 상당한 괴로움을 느꼈다. 갑자기 앞이 보이지가 않았다. 그저 앞으로 걸어가야 한다는 생각만 들 뿐이었다. 난 계속 걸어야했다. 11 juin, 2010.

Juliette Clovis의 전시관람을 끝내고 찾은 75015 French bistro. . 평소 프랑스음식이 궁금했었다. 이미 배가 차오른 나였음에도 불구하고, 호기심이 발동하여 Quiche를 주문하였다. 연어와 버섯이 들어간. . 글쎄, 배가 불러 그런걸까. 그냥 그랬다. 아마 배가 고팠다면 맛있다며 후딱 해치웠을걸? 인테리어도 예쁘고,(하긴 홍대는 거의 인테리어는 최고지.) 처음으로 먹어보는 프랑스요리. 그리고 페리에 탄산수. 이것도 처음 먹어봤는데 단순히 사이다일거라 생각했던게 오산. 뭐 이런맛이 있나 놀랬다. 아니 아무 맛도 없었다. 정말 매력. . 다 먹고 나오면서 생각한건 이름이 어찌나 귀여운지 퐁당오쇼콜라 인데, 왠지 다음에 먹으러 와볼것 같다. 벨지안이 만든 gaufre(와플)도 잠시 들려 맛볼수 있었다. 아오. 홍대는 구석구석에서 행복을 주는구나. 사람들이 왜들 홍대를 찾는지 이제서야 깨닫게 됐다. 24 mai, 2010. 힘들었다 이 모든것에 대하여. 어떤 것에 온 신경이 집중 된다는 그 자체는 내가 세상에 어떤 위대한 힘을 부여받았다는 그러한 북받음에. 더 잘 할수 있다고 나의 정신과 신체로 하여금 더욱더 재촉하게 만들기 마련이다. 좋다 내가 어떤 것에 몰입을 할 수 있다는 그 자체가. 싫다 내가 어떤 것에 휩싸여 미친다는 그 자체가. 어렵다 마음을 비우는 것이란. 조금만 선을 넘으면 될 것을 무엇이 겁이 나서 무엇에 그리도 씌어서 보지 못하는 것일까. 또 다른 세상이 있는데 좀 더 행복해질 수 있는데. 그래도 다행이다 지금이라도 깨우쳐서. 이런저런 일에 부딪치면서 배우는 것이 많다. 27 novembre, 2010. 한국남자들이 말귀를 못알아 듣는 이유 (hook) 2010.11.25일자. 살다 보면 그런 인간 꼭 있다. 도무지 남의 말귀를 못 알아듣는다. 한 이야기 하고 또 해도 매번 같은 자리다. 도대체 어쩌면 이럴까 싶은 마음에 답답한 가슴이 터질 것 같다. 특히 나 같은 교수들이 그렇다. 평생 남을 가르치기만 할 뿐, 남의 이야기를 들을 기회가 별로 없기 때문이다. 나에 대한 내 가족의 불만도 마찬가지다. 매번 자기 이야기만 한다는 것이다. 그래서 서울에서 부산까지 양 백 마리를 끌고 가는 것보다 교수 세 명 설득해서 데리고 가는 것이 훨씬 어렵다는 이야기도 한다. 그럼에도 우리는 서로 사랑한다고 생각한다. 사랑에 관한 암묵적 의미를 공유하기 때문이다. 아침식사를 집에서 못 얻어먹으면 더는 사랑받는 존재가 아니다. 그러나 내 아내에게 사랑은 ‘배려’다. 의미는 도대체 어떻게 공유되는 것일까? 12288; 이제 막 사랑하기 시작한 연인들이 놀이공원에서 무서운 놀이기구를 타...
