http://urbansuburbanhousewife.blogspot.com/2009/09/i-love-pumpkins.html
Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Baking from scratch is about the closest I get to being a 'real' housewife. The best Pumpkin Bread is from the Joy of Cooking. One 9 x 5-inch loaf. This loaf can be made with any cooked mashed squash, yams, or sweet potatoes. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1⁄4 teaspoon baking powder. 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. 1⁄2 teaspoon grated or ground nutmeg. The Modern Housewife: Lavender Moon Cupcakery
http://urbansuburbanhousewife.blogspot.com/2009/10/lavender-moon-cupcakery.html
Friday, October 9, 2009. I'm not usually a huge fan of cupcakes, but Lavender Moon Cupcakery delivers where others fail. Original and classic flavors are moist, not dry as is a common problem with cupcakes. My husband picked up a handful of these for my son's actual birthday: Orange Creamsicle, Flourless Chocolate, Triple Chocolate, and Apple. Selection varies daily. 116 South Royal Street. What Noah Says: February 2009
http://whatnoahsays.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Here are a few one liners that Noah has thrown out over the past few weeks:. 1) The other day he was doing something that he wasn't supposed to be doing. When I gave him a look, he came over to me, put his hands on my cheeks and said "Don't be mad, sweetheart! Of course, I got over whatever it was that had made me mad, and gave him a big hug. 2) I was watching Grease 2 on tv over the weekend (no comments, please! Walt and I said in unison "Who is John Bryson? So we really got ...

What Noah Says: April 2009

Friday, April 24, 2009. A Day at the Museum. Tap* *Tap* *Tap* Hello out there! It's been a while. And I'd like to have a good excuse, but the truth is, I've just been lazy. Anyway, I'm going to try to be better about blogging the Noah-isms from now on. Really, I am. REALLY! Anyway, a few weeks ago we spent the day at the museum. All of a sudden, Noah's really in to dinosaurs. (I think it's a boy thing). And he can point out many dinosaurs and says the names better than me! It's still cool 30 years later!

What Noah Says: February 2010
http://whatnoahsays.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 26, 2010. Due to weather, Noah's zoo class was cancelled last Friday. We did manage to get him in to the class on Saturday though, so it wasn't a total disappointment. Walt was under the weather so I got to go with him.I was secretly happy! Not that Walt was sick, but that I got to go! I don't have any pictures, there really weren't any picture taking opportunities, and besides, none of the other mothers took pictures and I didn't want to be "that" mom. Can we see her walk? Finally, we g...

What Noah Says: What Noah is up to
http://whatnoahsays.blogspot.com/2010/02/what-noah-is-up-to.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. What Noah is up to. Let's see.Noah has been up to a lot since I updated last. He can write all of his letters (amazingly well), became an expert sled rider, and won the Heisman trophy. Okay, I am kidding about the last part.it hasn't been THAT long! But, he did get his picture taken with it at the car show. Not really - it seems like he was just born. They grow up so quickly. You put my SOUP in a CUP? What is wrong with you? This could spill all over me and burn me!
