FlyFishing Things an all. Thursday, March 17, 2011. On our recent trip to Sterkfontein we found the Yellow's were not really eating the conventional flies we always used. Well we had a surprise up our sleeve's. Notice the nylon loop tied in at the hook bend. Most of you are familiar with static nymphing for trout. One would suspend a team of nymphs ( flies) below a strike indicator or a high floating dry fly. Labels: Fly Fishing Trip. Good pattern, it can work with Spanish Barbels. Warm water fly patterns.

Plenty fish have been caught and lost , lots of new fishing friends made , and even more knots tied. All and all a awesome time next to a piece of water be it a river in Zambia or on a skiff in Cuba. Monday, September 20, 2010. Okso my posts are lacking a bit. Getting out and fishing has been difficult. In the last four months I've been out fishing twice. Once on the vaal where I caught only one smallmouth yellowfish while watching a 7kg largemouth circle my boat and not even look at my fly. Söndag 2 januari 2011. VM BBQ Bacon Explosion. Har länge funderat på att göra detta grill recept. Det uppfanns av BBQ addicts. Jag har gjort om det lite för att det ska passa våra råvaror . Börja med att blanda 700gram blandfärs med Örter som du gillar. Gör sedan en platta av köttfärsen ca 20*30 cm. Kydda sedan med din favorit rubb eller min egna. Se tidigare inlägg för recept. Knaper stek ett paket bacon och lägg det på färsplattan. Nu tar du lite av din favorit grillsås och häller på lite över färsen.
