If you watched Ice Pilots NWT which aired last winter on the History Channel then you will already be familiar with this WWII machine. This particular plane as you will read below on a photo of the plaque that sits just underneath of it, served in WW2 in Asia and eventually came to rest after working in the Yukon here at the Whitehorse. Where Billy travels from the east coast of Canada up the Northwest Passage all the way to Vancouver Island. For anyone interested in seeing the farther reaches of Canada I highly recommend it and with Billy's sense of humour it makes for good entertainment. Those guys cast a long shadow. Nice photos. The Wings Stayed On! Prepare as you can, but finally launch yourself into the ether, hoping. Sep 20, 2007. With the advent of ultra-long haul aircraft, it's common now to see scheduled flights lasting up to 13 hours and longer. Personally, anything more than 3 hours starts to wear me down. In the past when I was commuting from my home to my assigned base, I found that a 1 hour flight was busy-busy - just get on, rush through a snack (ah, the good old days) and get off. How long is your preferred flight?

Friday, September 29, 2006. Here are a couple of pictures from the sim in Seattle. I did all of my training in the right seat as I am an FO and not a Captain, however I did get to try a bit from the left seat while my Capt was doing his right seat conversion training. Thursday, November 30, 2006. On Tuesday I did a trip from Calgary to High River to Fort St. John to Dawson Creek and then to Smithers where we overnighted. I had hoped it would be nice the next day so that I could get some good pictures of the mountains, but it only cleared up as we neared Calgary on the return.
