I like to think of the Karmann Ghia. As an extension of our family. My Dad purchased a brand new red Ghia in the mid 1960s. Since then my daughter, nephew, and I, have all owned/own a Karmann Ghia. The above is me and my. 1971 Karmann Ghia Coupe. Her new name is Ghia Girl. (She was previously known as Miss Banana). My Dad's Ghia in the 60's. Dad warming his Ghia and shoveling snow on Hollyhock Rd., Granger, IN. After lots of hard work! I need a date for the prom! Circa 1996 (Darlington, SC).
