The shallow slope and steep cliff edge requires good wing control and adequate running speed. Be prepared for a strong vertical drag when you pull up the wing in high winds. Be careful when you lay out the wing on the rocks in the rear part of the take-off. The lines might tangle and break when you pull up the wing. None above take off (see map below). August 22, 2015. Det grønnes i lauv og li, og stemningen og oppmøtet var upåklagelig. Fint startbart da jeg kom, og mange fikk mer eller mindre skliturer. Sosialiserte og ventet på at sola skulle komme rundt og kanskje gi noe termikk. Slik gikk det. Sundvollen med utsikt til Tyrifjorden, Holsfjorden og Oslofjorden i det fjerne. Bjørn Henrik Vangsteins loggbok for paragliding. Solfjellstua 26. april 2015. Høyt over Bærum med utsikt mot Oslofjorden. Stovivannet til høyre. Valgte kortreist flymoro, og fikk en innholdsrik dag som endte opp inne i Sørkedalen. Lavt trykk, ustabilt, sol, og en del sørvestlig vind. Blandede forventninger, men syntes det var verd å prøve. To-tre vinger var i lufta da jeg rullet inn Busoppveien, men det var tydeligvis ikke lett å bli hengende. Høyt over Solfjellstua med utsikt mot Bærums verk og Oslo.
