Monday, August 30, 2010. 170,000 miles and rising fast. HAL went over the 170,000 mile threshold on Friday August 20th just north of Traverse City, Michigan. It was a memorable trip with Heather.a ride that saw us pay $8 to visit a Michigan State Park for 5 minutes (never got out of the car because lightning was too bad) and took us straight through the heart of a very large and scary thunderstorm coming off of Lake Michigan. As always. here are some fun mileage facts:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Other ...

HAL and I returned to Kentucky from Michigan.and that's the last time I will say that as a resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Wow! Only 8 more days of work and two weeks of residency in Kentucky left. We'll get to 210,000 before leaving the state. and if not, we'll get there on our journey to Kansas City on our way out. Meandering Montanan: March 2007
http://meanderingmontanan.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 22, 2007. It was about 50 degrees and very windy. Hard to tell in the pic, but you can see the snow in the background. Actually, the ice melted off about 1 to 2 months early, not a good thing for summer. The fishing was slow for us compared to what it usually is here but I managed to catch a rainbow but had 7 strikes and lost a few. Still beats work! 1st Day on the Stillwater. On March 12 th. I hit the Stillwater. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Monday, June 30, 2008. Cooke City Lunch June 24th. Mom and I took a drive last Tuesday, 24th, to Cooke City for lunch at the Beartooth Cafe. It was a fun day and a great picture taking day. There was a ton of snow over the Pass. Even on the way down toward Cooke City, which is on the sunnier side, the snow usually ends right away. However, this year the snow lasted well down the other side. It was a fun day. 5 is the top of the pass parking lot which is not even open yet. Note the Big Ten pennants. Made ...
