Franklin County Board of Education member BeLinda Henson once again brought up the cost of the video surveillance cameras installed at Franklin County Central Office during the board meeting Monday night. And once again, Superintendent Harrie Buecker sidestepped the issue. She acknowledged that the installation and removal would come out of the building fund. But that was it. She said the bill hasn’t come due for that little spy mission. We’ll see if Henson ever gets her answer.

Kudos to the Franklin County Board of Education for not rushing into a decision Monday night about the contract of the much-investigated Superintendent Harrie Buecker. With two new board members and a massive continuing investigation by the Office of Education Accountability, that’s a smart move.
