Leifur Eiriksson Air Terminal (KEF). Nearly all international flights to and from Iceland are through the international Leifur Eiriksson airport. The airport is situated about 40 minutes drive from the capital Reykjavik. There are both Fly Buses and Taxis available at all times for transportation between the airport and Reykjavik. There are up to 40 to 50 international flights to and from the Leifur Eiriksson terminal every 24 hours, both between Europe and America. About The Airport Service.

September 17th, 2012 in Photography. I recently spent 12 days in Iceland photographing with Focus on Nature, John Paul Caponigro and Seth Resnick and a great group of excellent photographers. I took nearly 7,00 images (lots of bracketing) so it will be a while before I get through sorting and rating let alone producing some final images. A photographic study on Nature. Saturday, December 23, 2017. Longhorn beetles make a show. Its been quite hot lately and a trip around the yard looking for summer time creatures revealed the strange sight below. Erupting from the bark of an acacia was this strange form. Carefully removed it looked as below and was approximately 10 cm in length. Interested i searched for what had emerged and suspected a variety of Longhorn Beetle.
