Simple Things Mean So Much. Monday, September 19, 2011. Making my own laundry detergent. First- Buy the ingredients. Arm and Hammer Super Washing soda (different than baking soda). Bar soap (can use Fels Naptha, Ivory, or I bought Goat Milk Stuff. Container- Any will work, (ie. Tupperware, plastic container, up cycled food container). Take the bar soap and grate it.
