A Little Piece of JONES: May 2014
http://justincarissa.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A Little Piece of JONES. Sunday, May 18, 2014. My dear friend Julie came and did newborn pictures for me. She did a fabulous job. My mom bought the most adorable cowboy hat and boots for Landon to use and so of course we had to get a brothers shot, especially because the boys have been so into cowboys lately. I like this one too. Wish I had a few more shots of this pose. This is another of my favorites. Can't wait to get some of these printed and hung up on my wall. It was the first time they had been to...

A Little Piece of JONES: Protect the Family
http://justincarissa.blogspot.com/2015/06/protect-family.html
A Little Piece of JONES. Monday, June 1, 2015. I have been slowly working my way through Glen Beck's book Conform. About Common Core and Public Education in general. It has been a very good read. The other day I read some of the most disturbing chapters so far. They were so disturbing because they illuminated such a point of truth that society is straying so far away from. Glen Beck summed it all up-the point of the whole issue really, with this quote:. Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children i...

A Little Piece of JONES. Sunday, May 17, 2015. The Truth About Three. In short, how is it with three? Is it really that hard to just do it? But He knows that I am worth it. And I know that my boys are worth it. And if we keep trying, together we will figure it out eventually. It has taken me a few weeks to post about the end of preschool, and that's okay! Soren, Bryce, Gwen, Matthew, Ellie, Maggie, Koyle, Ammon, Naomi, Marseille. As if it wasn't already.) These quiet times are also good affirmations ...

A Little Piece of JONES: April 2014
http://justincarissa.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
A Little Piece of JONES. Thursday, April 24, 2014. We planted a garden! And it is growing! We have about 7 or 8 peas that have sprouted and are growing quickly! It is quite exciting to see our own little garden growing. The boys think it is super awesome that we are growing our own food! I just hope we can keep our plants alive as the weather gets hotter and that they will stay alive while we are gone in June. Our pea sprouts popping up! I Love to See the Temple. Preschool Program equals freedom! Everyon...

Happiness in the Journey: June 2014
http://ryanandhillary.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Window. I love antique windows! I searched everywhere to find some and found some at an old antique store in our town. They weren't exactly what I wanted, but I made do. I really want an old long 9-12 panel window! So if you know where I can get some let me know. It was about 1/2 a mile or almost a mile walk one way. It tired the girls out and they slept great that night! This little girl loves popcorn. She was dancing to the music while eating her popcorn. We went strawberry picking aga...

Happiness in the Journey: Carnival
http://ryanandhillary.blogspot.com/2014/06/carnival.html
Last Weekend we went to our towns Carnvial. We had so much fun. Zoie was able to ride more rides and Charlotte was able to do a couple this year too. Ryan took them on the rides and I hung out with a sleeping baby on my chest and took pictures. I love seeing the joy and happiness shine through their eyes when they are having fun and experiencing new things. It was about 1/2 a mile or almost a mile walk one way. It tired the girls out and they slept great that night! This little girl loves popcorn. Pictur...

Happiness in the Journey: 14 Days of Valentines
http://ryanandhillary.blogspot.com/2013/02/14-days-of-valentines.html
14 Days of Valentines. I wanted to do something more for Valentine's Day this year. I don't want my children to think it's all about romance, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc. There is more to it than that. With that in mind I combined two ideas that I found on a friends blog and another one I read. Thanks to The Ink and Anchor. And A Few of My Favorite Things. I came up with this! Every Morning at Breakfast, before Daddy leaves for work, we find the date for the day. This one is John 15:12. We are happier a...

A Little Piece of JONES: October 2014
http://justincarissa.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
A Little Piece of JONES. Sunday, October 26, 2014. Amoxicillin, Rolling, Lizards, and Sleep Training. It has been a pretty eventful week so we will start at the beginning. This was Monday morning before his neck got really "bad". And notice that the eczema covers the rest of his body too. We were back in business. Justin took his big unit test. We got grocery shopping done which had already been long overdue before I got sick. Did all the laundry, which is a feat within itself. And watche...Finally. ...
