Our yard has stabling for ten horses - the majority of stables are of the American barn style within a recently converted building, each box measuring approximately 12ft by 12ft. This building is set within an enclosed yard with a large grooming and tacking up area; washing facilities; and an all-weather turnout area. We also have two very spacious traditional stables which are suitable for the larger horse or - being set slightly apart from the main stable block - for foaling mares.

WINTER FORAGE AND BEDDING. Based at Ranskill, between Bawtry and Retford, we produce and sell our own HAY, HAYLAGE and STRAW on the farm. Haylage is produced in LARGE ROUND bales. Hay and Straw are produced in LARGE ROUND bales, LARGE SQUARE bales and traditional SMALL SQUARE bales. We have both WHEAT and BARLEY STRAW available. Based between Bawtry and Retford, close to the A1 at Blyth, we are available for snow clearance work at private and commercial locations in the Retford, Doncaster and Worksop area. We can also dig and tow out snow trapped lorries and other commercial vehicles. We run snow clearance vehicles with large front loaders so unlike a snowplough we can deposit all the snow in a specified location or, if necessary, remove it off site. I’m still here. I know it’s been a while, but I started a new job which I love and not really had the time to post. Welcome to Folly Nook Livery Stables. We operate a small, friendly livery yard which is set in an attractive and peaceful location on the edge of the village of Ranskill. Located a short distance from the A638 between Retford and Doncaster, we are within easy reach of Bawtry, Retford and Worksop. We offer DIY livery. With all year grazing. Summer turnout. If you wish your horse to be turned out in the morning for you, or brought in at night, this can be arranged with us. We have a 25 by 30 metre school.
