Creating Food and Scars. I am a 27 (almost 28) year old who is lucky enough to be married to a wonderful man, have 2 sweet children, 1 crazy dog, 2 mouthy cats, and 2 chickens. We live out in the country in the beautiful state of Oregon. I have a lot going on in my life right now, so I figured I'd blog to help me get it through it all :). Yes Do I really want to do this? Creating Food and Scars. Saturday, June 14, 2014. Well yesterday was the magical Friday the 13th; Full moon, and plastic surgeon appointment. It went really well, as well as these things can go. I asked him if we could do the type of surgery I wanted - nipple sparing with inframammary incisions, and he said it was a go! Look forward to marking that day on my calendar. It really feels like a lot longer, but I am just happy to be over halfways through the healing period. I still have restrictions. I had my third fill yesterday. The fills are such a weird thing, as a friend said "it's like puberty in fast forward! And it is true! I get to watch my foobs grow before my own eyes, and it is rather exciting! So here is to healing, making progress, and moving forwards!

Wellll I got the call I was waiting for today - the scheduler from Dr. C's office called, she had called and talked to Dr. K's scheduler and we have a date set. August 27, 2014, I will be getting my breasts removed prophylactically. It is so weird to type those words out. I really kind of can't believe it. But I know that it needs to be done, and I honestly feel a sense of relief. We are there. June 18, 2014 at 7:41 AM.
