Bob Wigington's Blog. My ride across Canada. Having retired it now frees me up to do, well, just about anything I want, within reason – how remarkable! I have been thinking of a cross Canada bike trip for a few years – ride along with me and we’ll see where and how it goes. I should to be back in Toronto in about 40 days…but then something might take my fancy along the way…who knows? I look forward to your comments. June 8, 2010 at 1:36 pm. June 9, 2010 at 6:18 pm. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Yes, there are truffles in the Yukon! I'm sure tomorrow it will even more. I will post on flavour, aroma and texture later. Rozites caperata or "the gypsy" I get all giddy when I find these. One of my favorite wild mushrooms of all time! A pan full of 2 types of chanterelles. Cantharellus cibarius and tubaeformis. Some cooked lacarria, chanterelle, boletus, lactarius and hedgehogs for pizza tonight. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Moose Pastrami and "Mocksutake".
