Thursday, January 29, 2009. Butter Flaky Pie Crust. What can I say? Everyone loves pie, right? Believe it or not, homemade pie crust is SUPER easy and SUPER fast. I swear this took me maybe all of 10 minutes to make the dough. Then you chill it and roll it out whenever you're ready. It's really simple. I mean, 4 ingredients - that's simple, right? And it's ingredients that almost everyone will have on hand. And split the dough into 2 halves before you chill it. Butter Flaky Pie Crust. 1/4 cup ice water.

On a rainy and lazy weekend, what can one do to get warm? Have beer of course! Mom doesn't drink, so I came up with this recipe just for her. Ka's Beer Mussels (KBM). 1 onion - sliced. 4 cloves garlic - chopped. 3 chilli padi - sliced/chopped. Salt to taste (about 1 tsp). 1] Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in pan, medium heat. 2] Add in onions and garlic. 3] Stir fry till soft. 4] Turn heat to high. Add mussels, chilli padi and beer (just pour everything in). 5] Cover and leave to cook for 5min.
