Unemployed Lawyer Mom: 04.2015
http://unemployedlawyermom.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
My industry is "Not Specified.". When Martha says, "Put some random vegetables on top of a pre-made pizza crust and convince yourself that you have made a healthy dinner. I say "HOW HIGH DO I PILE THAT CRESS? This pizza is so virtuous you can't even see the generous helpings of two kinds of cheese on it. #swimsuitseason. My first foray into in-person candlemongery is scheduled for this weekend. I'm pretty sure I'll just get her a minivan for her next birthday. Just look at the nice cake. I was also stuck...

Unemployed Lawyer Mom: Back to the cold section of the grocery store
http://unemployedlawyermom.blogspot.com/2015/07/back-to-cold-section-of-grocery-store.html
My industry is "Not Specified.". Back to the cold section of the grocery store. It's summer. My oven is broken. I've been feeling low. Cookies seem to have lost their medicinal properties. TIME TO EAT PLANTS I GUESS. Sometimes that's just what time it is, guys. The Mason Jar of Pens doesn't lie. It's been quite a while since I sat down and pored over a no-nonsense cookbook and I have to say, it was surprisingly motivating in a way that antique farmhouse feasts. Now I can put croutons there! LIKE ITS NO B...

Unemployed Lawyer Mom: So far so good
http://unemployedlawyermom.blogspot.com/2015/08/so-far-so-good.html
My industry is "Not Specified.". So far so good. For August recipes I have decided to show some love to my sadly neglected, intricately compartmentalized Pinterest page. I'm going to try to make at least one thing from every board, which fortunately for me and my household includes "Donuts," "Candy," "Pies," "Frozen Desserts," "Cookies and Bars," and obviously. A catch-all board for…."Sweets." IT'S GOING TO BE VERY HARD WORK BUT I AM NOT AFRAID. Another great thing about summer is doing things correctly!

Unemployed Lawyer Mom: Mission: Improbable
http://unemployedlawyermom.blogspot.com/2015/07/mission-improbable.html
My industry is "Not Specified.". Hey, July is almost over! Let's wrap this vegetarian. Thing up with some Red Cabbage and Apples. And, uh, some grilled fish. The Swimming Vegetable. And some Summer Rolls. Ah, Summer Rolls. A bright spot in the darkness. Or shady spot in the brightness, really. If you can even imagine that. I am going to stop complaining about summer for a full month. At least out loud. I read Swistle's post. And making this face:. Ahem, sorry. I already kicked off the list. She mentioned...

http://sheilagarrett.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
If Winter comes,. Can Spring be far behind? Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Laundry Basket, Thy Name is Victory. As soon as Samuel gets home from school (daycare), he demands that we help him take off his shoes and socks. I'd gotten tired of picking up little stray socks all over the house, and was determined to find a solution that would help maintain my sanity AND teach Samuel good habits. A few days ago, I bought a very small children's laundry basket at Target. Links to this post. Went through some craz...

Bookish Bent: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
http://bookishbent.blogspot.com/2009/10/guernsey-literary-and-potato-peel-pie.html
Because I always have a book by my side. Thursday, October 22, 2009. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I finished this book over the weekend. It was another lucky find on the free counter at work. It was already on my wish list, so I couldn't believe my luck when I saw it just sitting there waiting to be read. The book is set up as a bunch of letters, which at first was hard to get used to. Would I really enjoy reading an entire book through letters? Labels: The Guernsey Literary and Pot...

The Brown Family Blog. Wednesday, December 4, 2013. My sweet boy got the chicken pox over Thanksgiving break! He is a trooper and is finally ready to go back to school. It was perfect timing since there were all kinds of distractions: cooking, decorating, eating, more eating, Legos, gingerbread house making, and watching Christmas movies! Adeline is healthy so far but I'm sure she will get it next week :). Gotta love the pox! December 9, 2013 at 5:40 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
