46 North Farm: March 2011
http://ostmanfarm.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Seasonal Observations from a Small Farm on Oregon's North Coast. Sunday, March 20, 2011. Over a Thousand Reasons Why We Need an Elk Fence. We finally got o...

46 North Farm: June 2010
http://ostmanfarm.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Seasonal Observations from a Small Farm on Oregon's North Coast. Monday, June 14, 2010. As a farmer growing flowers and vegetables for a living, I've never gotten very excited about deer, unless is was in a 'hopping up and down in a fury because some #$@% $. Deer had eaten all the sweet pea blooms off the trellis the day before market' kind of way. And our biggest neighbour here at 46 North Farm? A wildlife rescue and rehab center, the Wildlife Center of the North Coast. What does it mean? My god the dee...

Seasonal Observations from a Small Farm on Oregon's North Coast. Monday, October 11, 2010. I guess we should tell you about this. I'm not sure why I'm feeling so shy about this, but we are going to be in Portland tomorrow night, October 12th, as part of the program for Friends of Family Farmers great series, inFARMation (and Beer! Our local food bank) and the Cannon Beach Farmers Market. I was actually terrified to be standing up in public, in front of the press even, talking about my work as a farmer.
