Follow us on Facebook. Almost as much as we #eat, and definitely more than we blog. Monday, June 9, 2014. Mission: introduce Canberran friend to banh mi. Who thought such a mission would be so hard to achieve! After traipsing across the city and finding the usual suspects (Ba'get, FOB Rolls and Roll'd) closed, we happened across this little gem tucked away between Little Ramen Bar and Shanghai Street on Little Bourke Street. Pork chop banh mi. The place itself isn't fancy. A little more than a hole-i...

http://gluttonygluttony.blogspot.com/2014/03/fukuryu-ramen.html
Follow us on Facebook. Almost as much as we #eat, and definitely more than we blog. Monday, March 31, 2014. Fukuryu Ramen is a new addition to the Melbourne ramen scene. It's only been around for three weeks so totally worth a visit while they're running some cool promotions. It's still early in the life of this new spot so they're having a smackdown of nori chips and nori tofu. Complimentary samples of both for customers to vote on. It's a little like being on an episode of MasterChef or MKR! The ice cr...

Follow us on Facebook. Almost as much as we #eat, and definitely more than we blog. Monday, January 21, 2013. Tidlom Thai Antique Restaurant. Shop C1, 550 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne 3000. Tidlom is not easy to find. Tucked away in an alleyway off Lonsdale Street, you could easily walk past without noticing it (which is exactly what we did). Inside, the place is small and the decor is simple and a little left-of-centre. We start off with a cool refreshing Thai milk tea, which has hints of grass jelly in it.

Joomak is located just north of Melbourne Central and can be a little hard to find.it's hiddne down some stairs in the basement of the building. We haven't booked, so get seated at the small tables to make our orders before eventually being moved to a proper table that frees up just in time as our food arrives. The 'corn and cheese' is the firs...
