However, I reckoned that even if I didn't have a good time, at least the experience would be 'character-building'. Luckily I've enjoyed many good times. Thursday, 23 July 2009. Oh, for a Sainsburys ready meal. The fridge freezer is still broken. The guy who came to fix it last week said it needed an electrical part and he would order it. Then we didn't see him for dust. A German friend rang the repair man to get an explanation for his odd behaviour - but he was evasive. Adventures in my food obsession. I have a love/hate relationship with eggs. They are a great food, no doubt, and I often relish the thought of poached eggs or a boiled egg. But then sometimes they absolutely repel me and I can’t even stand the smell of them. A bit odd really! Leeks snuggle up to the sage bush. My helper stirs the veg.
