What's new in our world. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Batelle Darby Creek Park. We decided to enjoy the beautiful Labor Day Weekend weather and head out to a park. My grand plan for a picnic ended up as drive-thru Arby'sbut we had fun anyway. I love this park. We spent many, many hours here as children. I learned to ride a bike here! What's new in our world. Monday, August 31, 2009. Weekend in the hills. This past weekend saw us loading up the car and heading to Mimi and Pap's house (David's parents) for a nice long visit. Our plans on Saturday also included the Foothills Blues and Arts Festival,. Hosted by my mom's cousins on their little (500 acres) patch outside Harrisonville, OH. Great fun was had by all!
