Monday, August 17, 2015. The same day we returned from Jackson Hole, Aubrey and Paca came to visit us. The girls had an awesome time playing together in the loft. Aubrey and Ramona wore matching pajamas at bedtime, courtesy of Teresa. We love cousin Aubrey! The next day, they joined us for a service project at Boyd Lake Park. It was a hot day for picking up trash, but we put in about an hour of good work . . . Then cooled off at the beach. Ice cream cones to celebrate cousin time! Sunday, August 9, 2015.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Halloween did happen this year. It even happened with homemade costumes, which is probably the most ridiculous part, considering the amount of time I maybe should not have spent on paper mache-ing giant pony heads. But the end product really made me smile. Here is Ramona as Fluttershy the pegasus pony and Mika as Rarity the unicorn. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Red Rocks and weed pizza. A lot of the time it seems like Forest and I don't "get out" much- I guess we are in a phase of life where we tend to let ourselves be tied down at home. Hauling kids around for frequent family outings is just not our forte, and hiring a babysitter to stay home for us is a "sometimes" treat. We got out and did something! Wednesday, October 29, 2014. The sugar maple tree in our backyard was looking quite brilliant one Saturday. It was time to take some photos and celebrate Fall. Happy Fall to all. Monday, October 6, 2014. That month that flew by, just before whatever month we are in now? It came and went so fast I almost forgot that we even did these things: 1) hiking, 2) zucchini races, and 3) more hiking. We had beautiful weather and a beautiful view. We came home tired and dirty with second and third place ribbons.

Thursday, December 25, 2014. Ski for Free (almost). We made it to the slopes this year! This is why it was so awesome:. 1) It didn't cost as much as the usual skiing excursion because Paca found us some free poles, skiis, and boots (which actually fit) and gave us free babysitting while we spent the morning at Eldora. 3) We stopped for Vietnamese food before heading back home. Sarah waited until the scheduled C-section to come, so we got to go to the hospital for a lot of preparation! All went well with the surgery and Sarah was born at 12:30pm and weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces!
