Friday, April 30, 2010. Babes in the Wood: Ground Pork. Mmmmpork. My favorite protein. Thanks to Babes in the Wood. I got myself a good pound of the stuff just to make this recipe. I wish I could say that the scallions and the mushrooms were local and organic too, but I cant. Maybe next time. The soba noodles, however, were. Organic. But enough of that.was it any good? Labels: Babes in the Wood. Monday, April 26, 2010. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Wolf Creek Farm: Stew Beef. Let's see what I can find.

Cooking with Sarina: Pork and Beans, 2 Ways
http://cookingwithsarina.blogspot.com/2010/05/pork-and-beans-2-ways.html
I hope you enjoy these recipes and cooking thoughts. Please leave comments if you have anything to add or have questions. Monday, May 24, 2010. Pork and Beans, 2 Ways. My first try at this was making Chalupas from Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook. It was good, but called for Pinto beans. I prefer black beans so that's what I use. You can use either kind, but I wouldn't recommend trying anything other than those two kinds. Here's the main dish recipe:. 1-15 cups dry black beans. Minced or chopped finely.

Eating Local in Charlottesville. Friday, July 20, 2007. A Weekend in New York. I recently spent a long weekend visiting my brother Erik. And his wife Eppu. I arrived too late to share in the dairy goods from Ronnybrook Farm. That Erik had gotten on an earlier market day. Here are the glass bottles:. On the Sunday that I was there, I got to go along for a visit to t...
