On the Eridge Estate a short walk away. Check out their website. A local activity centre less than 2 miles away where during the Summer holidays loads of courses can be booked. A forest full of woodland activities. Bike ridding, Go Ape and fantastic walks. The place to climb natural sandstone rocks and only a couple of minutes from the campsite. If you really want to get the most out of your camp fire you can hire a campfire grill from us to use while you are here. We have a large and a small grill available for hire on a daily basis. There is no need to book one inadvance as we have plenty available. Suitable for a family of six is for hire at 5.00 per night with a 40 deposit. OK so its not real "Real Camping". We have toilets and showers which use loads of water and loads of power. One day we may be able to live without them, but for the moment we think you have to have that little bit of luxury. There is nothing like a good strong shower and a flushing toilet. We are always investigating alternatives and hope to have composting toilets in the woods and showers in the trees. But these raise more issues with the ecologists and planners. We will get it sorted!

Please contact us by email during the closed season. The Barn is sadly now closed until further notice. We are very sad to anounce that the Barn will have to close until we have found a replacement chef. Finding someone who can meet the standards we have set is not going to be easy!
