Tea and Honey: November 2010
http://mergelsbergs.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 25, 2010. This Thanksgiving I'm grateful for my husband who makes me laugh and makes my day. He completes me and I am better because of him. I am thankful for my family that stays together and continues to come together. Everyone working together to pick up and soldier on. Making new memories and relishing the joyous times we've enjoyed in the past. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. I rea...

If you are looking for a beautiful, honest and raw Mother's Day tribute, please see her blog. It is simply amazing. And truly, there is no one else I want to reflect. Like the moon reflects the sun. Like Christians reflect Christ. I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,. Always offering prayer with joy. In my every prayer for you all,. The satraps, the pre...

Sunday, February 28, 2010. After setup, we gave our troops their marching orders and we all got ready for the night. Everyone enjoyed dinner and then we danced up a storm. A company donated a photo booth and they had fun props for everyone to wear. They also handed out our prints for free. I took a few pictures, but I'll order my prints online and post them up later. For now, here are some shots from the night! Paper flowers in vases, just missing their butterflies! Paper flowers and glittery butterfly.

Sunday, September 4, 2011. The theme over the past week has been "worship." What is worship? How is it displayed in our lives? Tea and Honey: June 2010
http://mergelsbergs.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 21, 2010. On Sunday at church, we were given the charge to meditate on Scripture this week. Pastor Mike shared that "to meditate" is "to mutter something." The whole teaching was amazing and there were many practical things to put in place for me personally, but this is one I want to share. The verses I am muttering this week are:. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 3. What should you be muttering this week?

In light of my mom being in the hospital last week and us facing some harder faith moments right now, it's time to revisit the promises God has given us. Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and accused the Jews. They spoke and said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “O king, live forever! And whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediat...

Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Bruised to Comfort Others. Forty minutes later they came downstairs and puffy eyes quickly signaled it was time for us to leave. We apologized and tried to slip by them, but her dad stopped us and shared with the few friends waiting that once the doctors began the surgery they discovered the cancer was also present in her liver. We hugged them and left them to the decisions, conversations, and tears I knew would be coming. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Theme a...
