Yet another storm-filled day and the radar map was more colorful than the past two days. Not good when you have a date with the new Fantasyland. Friday, November 28, 2014. This was the 19th anniversary of starting Thanksgiving Day at Madison Bowl. The boys were amped to see which one would get the grade school division trophy (Louie won); Mere refused to play; and Gracie and Maggie threw a few frames, but honestly thought "bowling" was going to this place where you sit in car video games pretending to play. Thank goodness they have discovered quarters yet! Norah was rocking out to Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue" while wearing her Indian feathers.

Friday, October 24, 2014. No, he loved what he taught; he loved the kids; and he felt confident enough in his skills that regardless of whether you classified a day as good or bad, in the end the kids benefited. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Unless you have allergies). I woke up early today to make the treat. That Louie was bringing to school for his 8th birthday. I had a vague memory of being woken up overnight by Louie because his eyes hurt and his lungs were burning, but it didn't click that it might be more of a subtle overnight ailment that woke him up from his slumber. Who wants to miss their birthday at school? Louie, age 7. When Louie came into this world. Eight-years-old today and feeling not all that great.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Home again, Home again. I'm taking a break from unloading to cool in the a/c. It was a hot weekend. Not completely unmanageable,but quite muggy. We had fairly shady spots, lots to drink, and a really great swimming pool to retreat to in the afternoons when the humidity became oppressive. Meredith is sleeping in her crib.
