Thursday, February 14, 2013. Sweet potatoes with pecan streusel. I made this sweet potato souffle for Thanksgiving last year, and it was a hit. Absolutely delicious! I found the recipe via Pinterest HERE. I made a few alterations to the recipe (i.e. subbing pecans for walnuts as my family is allergic). I will definitely make this many times again! 4 tablespoons packed brown sugar. 1/4 cup chopped pecans. 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar. 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional). It was so fast and easy, not to mention delish. 1 lb medium-thick stalks asparagus. Extra virgin olive oil. Coarse Kosher or sea salt. Preheat oven to 450° with a rack set in the middle. Rinse and pat dry the asparagus. One spear at a time, snap off the bottoms of each stalk where it wants to breaks naturally. Posted by Melissa Nickle, Owner of Blossom Sweet.

Thursday, December 5, 2013. My mom is famous for this recipe. Whenever there's a party at Melanie's house, a camping trip, a party that Melanie is taking treats to, a missionary package sent, etc., these are a staple. Thus, to me, they are a sentimental treat (and so yummy to boot! 1 small box Golden Grahams cereal. 1/4 c karo syrup. 1 large bag of mini marshmallows. 1 bag milk chocolate chips. Grease a 9x13 pan with butter or margarine. Melt butter and karo syrup together on low heat. Add 1 tsp vanilla.

dish delish: November 2009
http://the-dish-delish.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 28, 2009. Delectable. delightful. delish. I used to be a terrible cook. In fact- and this is a true story- one night during my freshman year of college, I decided to try my hand at some homemade chocolate frosting (I had never made frosting from scratch before). The result was that I accidentally put in three cups of cocoa rather than three tablespoons! I'm not kidding. Even the most devoted lover-of-chocolate couldn't down a cocoa overload of that degree!
