John's NC Roadster: February 2009
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2009. I had been pondering getting this for the longest time, and I thought today was a good day. The Blitz Power Meter i-Color Flash. Its basically a diagnostic display device pretty much similar to the older Apex'i RSM, although this installs in seconds and requires no wire splicing, unlike the older RSMs. I wouldn't go into what the device can display since its all here. There's even a whole PDF document over here. That goes into specifics. Sunday, February 22, 2009. The GTR is a ...

John's NC Roadster: January 2009
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 19, 2009. Fixed up the air intake yesterday. Took me more than an hour. Well, the actual install actually took at most 30 minutes, even for a layman like me. The reason why I went overtime was because I couldn't figure out how the heck did everyone fit the filter so nicely. Look at mine. I refitted the intake again after taking these pictures, so now the filter element is a little bit closer to the intake, though not by much. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. These are a continuation of my int...

John's NC Roadster: December 2008
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2008. No more bouncing soon. Ordered the JIC Magic FLT TAR coilover set. More information of the coilover can be found here. In any case, its going to be the new year soon, and I suppose its going to get sluggish in Japan as well. It'll probably take them a while to ship. I reckon I'll probably only be fitting the suspension in the later part of January. I'm also getting the garage to check on this air intake kit from Beatrush. More pictures can be found on the laile website here.

John's NC Roadster: Suspension is up!
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2009/06/suspension-is-up.html
Sunday, June 28, 2009. For the uninitiated(like me), they have a website here. The version I eventually got was the BC BR Type RA damper. Yes, it is quite a mouthful. Here's a fancy picture from its UK website. Not too bad, monotube, 30 level damping adjustments, etc. You can read the full writeup of the coilover here. Talk about efficiency. I was really surprised when I got a call almost the next day asking me to fix a day to install the coilover. Here's one of the rear. Back in the box! Meanwhile, here...

John's NC Roadster: The Christmas Crawl
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-crawl.html
Monday, December 20, 2010. Not much activity or happenings with the car of late. Had a lot on my mind on what to do, but do not have the resources to pursue them. All the same, the car is currently doing alright for me, so I guess this will stay that way for a long time. Anyway, met up with some miata folks over the weekend for an early Christmas dinner, so here are some pics of the event. Here's where we all gathered, at the Lotus showroom on the western part of the island. All 3 generations side by side.

John's NC Roadster: January 2010
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 3, 2010. Its going for slightly less than US$280 for both front and rear, which I figured is quite a good deal. I'm not going for a front strut bar since I don't have the mounting bracket for it and getting both of them is not exactly cost-efficient in my opinion. Or if the finances permit, a decent sized 6 piston kit(project μ? For the front. I don't think I will change the rear. And that wraps up the entire modlist for the whole of 2010(I hope! Here's how the stance looks like. Its ...

John's NC Roadster: March 2010
http://john-roadster.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 6, 2010. In any case, first mod of the year! I've gotten myself a new subwoofer. Previously, I was apprehensive about putting a sub in the car because it would simply take up way too much space. Well, its still going to take up space, but hopefully, with this new shallow sub. I've gotten from SB Acoustics, hopefully, it would not be as much as I thought. Here are some pictures of the sub that came in via Fedex. Quick processing from Madisound. And the Rockford Fosgate T400. 2 are whats re...
