At the core of Open Distro we want to eliminate as much of the middle-man as we can between developers and end users. In general terms, developers do a lot of work to make sure their software works brilliantly, but then "distros" come along and tweak it. Welcome to Open Distro. Open Distro is a new, fresh approach to building a GNU/Linux operating system. It is not based on any other distribution. We are actively working towards fully stable, ready to use installations for everyone, but we need your help to get there.
