Sunday, November 30, 2014. I cannot believe that tomorrow is December 1st. Woke up around 3:30 am this morning and was having trouble going back to sleep, but I finally did. When we did get up, I noticed that the walkway in my back yard was wet, so I assumed it had drizzled some during the night. Not a good rain, but I guess anything is better than nothing. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Only slept in until 7 am this morning. Another beautiful day when I peeked out my sliding glass door. Bright sunshine and blue sky. Met up with the group ladies for lunch today. They had gone to the grief group earlier. I have quit going to the group, but they still go every now and then. We had lunch at Topper’s Pizza. Sunday, August 2, 2015. We got up at 7 am this morning and immediately headed out for a 2 mile morning walk. It was nice a cool while we were out. Several people were out walking dogs, biking and jogging. Had some breakfast when we got home then I did some things around the house. Changed the sheets on my bed and I keep some of Hiker’s kibble in a small tube in my laundry room, so I filled that up. I’ll have to vacuum later. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Nice Lunch With Group Girls. Up around 7 am. Had breakfast and then I headed over to Stater Brothers to do my grocery shopping. Seems like every time I go now I spend a little more each time. Started getting warm quick today. Was already 92° at 11 am. Went over to Rattler’s BBQ at noon to meet up with the girls from the grief group. The restaurant is always crowded. There were 6 of us today. Had fun as usual. I appreciate your comments. Friday, August 7, 2015. We got up early this morning for our Friday morning dog walk. It was cool outside due to a slight marine layer here this morning and it felt wonderful. Let the dogs play after the walk and then Hiker and I had some breakfast. I was still pretty pooped from the visit at the Huntington Library yesterday, so we didn’t do much all day. We did go over to Central Park after lunch and walk around some. The temperature was in the 80’s so it wasn’t as hot has it has been. I HATE THE HEAT!

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Still Too Hot To Go Outside. Woke up at 6 am but didn’t get out of bed until 7 am. I wanted to run some errands this morning, but some of the stores I wanted to go to didn’t open until 9 am. Put a boneless chicken breast in the crock pot for my dinner tonight and later I’ll add some egg noodles to it. Cannot believe it is already the last day of April.
