And the name is. We beat our self-set deadline of picking a name for our little boy by April 1, and. Decided this past weekend. We have tossed around so many names it's dizzying, but we've finally settled on a name we both like: Jack. On his birth certificate, our little guy's official name will be John Stephen Phillips. My husband wants him to have a "proper" name on his birth certificate (as Jack is a nickname for John), and an option to go by John later on in life if he likes. April 4, 2009 at 9:35 AM.

About a month ago, Jack made his big move. We had been waiting for it for some time. We expected it to happen around 12 months, because he was on time with crawling, and early with teeth and some other developmental markers. We were thrilled today to see the youngest member of our family kicking playfully on the ultrasound monitor. It was beyond a delight to watch our second son's heart beat, see small arms move up to his precious face, glimpse his sweet little profile, watch tiny fingers and toes wiggle—and to discover he is a boy (all 8 ounces of him—not surprisingly, a little bigger than the average baby at this stage). I can't help but imagine what he'll be like (I do hope for a good sleeper like Jack! Big T and Little S.

Join us for the name hunt! My husband and I have had quite a time naming our little boy. We haven't truly, wholeheartedly agreed on a single name yet. We've thrown several on the table, and they've all been more or less vetoed: Too common. Bad meaning. Not manly enough. Might get teased with that one. Simply horrible. Too old-fashioned. John 14:6 And Jesus said to him: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life;. January 28, 2010. I remember Ruben visiting prophet TB Joshua in Nigeria after the tumor had been identified. I am sure he totally believed God would heal him, and the prophet proclaimed him healed, thus for many years after he did not have any scans. In the end the tumor either reoccurred or never was healed, and he died at age 39. That was yesterday. Rest in peace brother, till the end! Posted in South Africa. November 17, 2008.
