We had been making preparations for some time, as his kidneys had been failing for several months. We decided that we’d like to save a death row doggy, both in honor of Banyan and to celebrate new life (the circle continues). Andy and the girls drove about 800 miles this week to pick her up from a wonderful rescue called Kilby Kountry. The kids sharing a doggy cone from DQ.
