One Step At A Time: Handling Hiccups
http://onestepfinancial.blogspot.com/2009/09/handling-hiccups.html
Thursday, September 24, 2009. We had planned to pay off our two smallest debts to get us off to a great start, but we are only sending off a payment in full for the smallest debt. We are a little disappointed but the way we look at it, we have behaved like adults and found a way around the hiccups without giving up. Posted by Andres Aguilar. I was really nervous about the grocery envelope, it is getting kind of low, but I just looked in the kitchen and we have enough food to last until payday. However, we still may need to get some bread, milk, eggs, and cereal, but I think there is enough to get all of it with what is left. Posted by Andres Aguilar. Labels: 4th of July. One Step At A Time: Back To Square One
http://onestepfinancial.blogspot.com/2011/12/back-to-square-one.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. Back To Square One. It has been a long time since I have posted on this blog. The last post was September 2009 and that is about the time we fell off the wagon. To make a long story short, in December 2009 my daughter had surgery and had a weeklong stay in the hospital and needed another week of attention at home. This caused added expenses and loss of pay. Instead of staying on track and rebuilding our emergency fund, we just let things fall to the side. Labels: Baby Step 1.

One Step At A Time: October 2008
http://onestepfinancial.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2008. How did we get started? We looked at our bank statement and realized we spent almost $1000.00 eating out. A thousand dollars for us two and, at the time, a 15 month old baby, and we spent $500.00 on groceries, which we throw most of it way because we didn't eat at home. We started to cook more at home and put as much as we could in savings. Posted by Andres Aguilar. How are going to afford all the new stuff? I read about his seven baby steps and testimonials about people who mad...

Sunday, January 25, 2009. I wrote yesterday about how we have been messing up and we need to get back on track. We finally went grocery shopping and I think we did a good job. We are looking ahead and planning for the future. We have taken the seeds of our goals and planted them, now we have to continue to water it, and make sure to give it plenty of sunlight.
