I created this blog to help other people going through the same thing and also to urge any parent, if they feel it is necessary, to always try and get the best medical attention they can for their baby while he or she is still young. Friday, 7 August 2009. Its always hard to remember something bad when everything is going well isn't it! Its so hard now to think of Fox screaming every time we changed his dressing, teetering on the edge of sanity, being careful not to fall - watching him scream in absolute agony. Waiting for him to wake up after another anaesthetic. Wondering if it'll be a 'good one'. Fox is just a different baby to care for now. Hes still taking Propranolol. 50s and 60s festival were Fox proudly sat in his Marmet.

Saturday, 17 October 2009. How Far Hes Come :o). Is now all but healed. This dressing we're using at present has done all it can do now and I think it'll soon be time for him to move on to something else on his next visit to GOSH on November 2 nd. Hes doing great with all movement now and walking and climbing with great ease! October 2009 (please click on photo for larger image). Obviously, healing the wounds was one thing but in general I feel the. Whole birthmark is still very raised. This is my journey.

Sunday, 25 April 2010. I'm in the process of trying to put an up to date slide show of his recent photos on Youtube, here they are below (except a bit cut off! Hes absolutly fine and been enjoying his life as normal :o). 31 May 2010 at 20:40. What an amazing journey! Fox has been such a brave boy. 8 June 2010 at 17:59. I feel for you guys, but I am pleased that Fox is making progress. My son also suffered an ulcerated haemangimoa 9cmx5 on his left shoulder and arm in 1983 aged 3 months old,.

Wednesday, 5 August 2015. 2015 Nearly 7 Years Old. Fox visited GOSH a few months ago and is now awaiting his first 'release' surgery with Mr Bulstrode. This involves a 'Z' being cut into the scar under his arm to release the grafted and scarred area and allow for better freedom of movement.
