Trial and Erika: June 2014
http://trialanderika.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 23, 2014. I made these Papercut Meissa blouses. Waaaay back before Easter and took pictures of them a few weeks later. And then they just sat in my blog folder, neglected as I frantically prepared for Me Made May. So, considering the fact that I haven't made anything of note besides a turd of a Darling Ranges dress (such a bummer) because all I do is study for anatomy, these will work perfectly! Those double buttons are super great too, I get tons of compliments on them! I believe this was t...

Trial and Erika: Gabri-oooh-la
http://trialanderika.blogspot.com/2014/08/gabri-oooh-la.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. Sometimes your mom (aka photographer) goes out of town every weekend for the entire summer and you have nobody to help you take pictures for your blog. And also, sometimes I don't feel like hemming a skirt that has a 12 foot wide hem so it sits on my dress form for 3 months before I can talk myself into hemming it. This is the result. I won this floral rayon in a giveaway from Stephanie over at Makes the Things. Which was pretty freaking awesome (thanks again)! I'm not a super hu...

Trial and Erika: Hey, I'm planning ahead kind of
http://trialanderika.blogspot.com/2014/10/hey-im-planning-ahead-kind-of.html
Friday, October 10, 2014. Hey, I'm planning ahead kind of. To say my sewing mojo has been lacking the last month is a colossal understatement. It's partially due to the fact that between my full time job, part time job, dog classes and a human class I haven't had a weekend off in over a month (and won't have one off until November), but also because I've been really into knitting lately. I'm a very, very. I sewed the majority of the Bruyere shirt. My dress form is where garments go to die, apparently.

Trial and Erika: How many Liebsters is too many Liebsters?
http://trialanderika.blogspot.com/2014/06/how-many-liebsters-is-too-many-liebsters.html
Thursday, June 12, 2014. How many Liebsters is too many Liebsters? A couple of weeks ago Amy. Nominated me for a Liebster award and then today I got word from Elaine. That she nominated me too! You guys, thanks and also your blog names are scary similar. What Miss Amy Did Next and What Diana Did Next? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hella confused when I was trying to find you both on Bloglovin' after following your Instagrams. I hope you two follow each other! Here are Amy's questions:. I think my first...

https://littlehomebyhand.wordpress.com/2014/02/16/why-buy-when-you-can-make-shapely-boyfriend-cardigan
Little home by hand. Why buy when you can make? Done, my first knitted cardigan is officially finished! Can you tell I’m excited? I absolutely loved knitting this, it was a great evening project to have on hand while watching a series (soo hooked on Game of Thrones). Started in late December it took just two months to complete. I’d been meaning to knit a cardigan for years but considered it beyond my skills. Why do we always let fear keep us from just jumping in? The Shapely Boyfriend cardigan. The only ...

Marsala Lady Skater – Design By Lindsay
http://www.lindsaywoodward.com/2015/02/marsala-lady-skater.html
February 10, 2015. I finally got around to making the Lady Skater. I received this pattern as part of the first Pattern Parcel. And printed it out right away. But instead of making the Lady Skater I had planned on, I used the bodice to make my stripy “Madewell” dress. From a couple years ago. It looked like the perfect cold weather basic, so I went a very similar route with mine. I bought this rust-colored jersey. I’m definitely a bamboo fan. This was such a satisfying make! And do you also try to altern...
