Wednesday, February 08, 2012. We had a birthday party at the park for Tommy, I know how lucky in February, we had a scavenger hunt and all the kids had a blast. We had about 35 kids show up and were so happy that the weather was nice and we could be outside. Tommy's Grandma Bealer made him this really cool cake. Sunday, April 03, 2011. I had the opportunity to work with the 7th and 8th graders in our school and produce a play for them. The play was a comedy called Bedbugs and our performance was on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. They did such a great job and what a great opportunity to work with such great kids. Thursday, June 14, 2012. I read a story once of a young couple telling her parents that they were expecting their first child. The parents were extremely excited and the soon-to-be Grandma gave her daughter a hug. I'm so excited for you." She said. "But a little sad at the same time.". This story rang true to me. Saturday, September 17, 2011. Matt's brother Darin passed away Wednesday morning. I can't imagine losing any of my brothers so to think this is the second brother he's lost in just a few years seems a little overwhelming. Darin's life was hard. He struggled often. We'll miss him a lot!
