Confessions of the Carlsons: March 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Thursday, March 18, 2010. Just call her "Doc". Says ten thousand hours of practice are needed to become an expert. Well, Cadence is well on her way to becoming an expert in the medical field. I'm pretty sure my child has found her calling in life. She may only be 2, but its never too early to start practicing. She started on dummies. And quickly moved on to live test subjects. She certainly has the compassionate expression. And the maniacal passion. Sunday, March 14, 2010.

Confessions of the Carlsons: September 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Monday, September 13, 2010. Yes, we are still alive and indeed are still connected to the world via the interweb. More so than ever in fact, since we upgraded to iPhones. About a week ago. Lots has happened in the last 2 months (a return from a deployment followed immediately by a move to a new state and all the fun that accompanies those activities) and I hope to retroactively update the blog, but in the meantime I'm picking up.right now. And there is sweet tea everywhere!

But other highlights included the pony ride,. Petting zoo, gorillas, face painting, sky ride,. And a "first" this time - the Budgie Buddies exhibit! Lunch in the new, upscale cafeteria was just the icing on the cake of a wonderful day - DELICIOUS! June 30, 2010 at 11:28 PM. Looks like a beautiful zoo! July 1, 2010 at 1:43 PM.

Confessions of the Carlsons: January 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Nothing takes your mind off a deployed husband/daddy like a toddler invasion! The morning after Kevin left, we hosted playgroup and it was so nice to be in the company of friends. Coffee, mini-muffins, slide, piano, rice table and conversation made for a pretty good morning. Friday, January 29, 2010. It feels like just yesterday I wrote a post like this one. Oh yeah, because I DID. Only a year ago! To Qatar with stops in Germany and Italy on the way&...

Confessions of the Carlsons: Storyville
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010/05/storyville.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Friday, May 28, 2010. The Baltimore County Public Library has an awesome child-sized village called Storyville. It is designed to be an "interactive early learning literacy center" for children ages birth to 5 and their caregivers. Basically, it is a hands-on playhouse much like a children's museum.but free! I was too busy playing to take my normal obscene amount of pictures, but I did manage to capture some of the highlights. The grocery store was a big hit! But Cady's favor...

Confessions of the Carlsons. Monday, June 14, 2010. The main reason for my trip to Colorado was to leave Cadence with Nana and Papa so I could send my bff Tiffany off to wedded bliss in style with a bachelorette party in SAN FRANCISCO! We had a fun-filled weekend full of laughter, beautiful weather, and delicious food. It was awesome living the city life for a weekend and spending time with Tiffany and her fabulous SF friends. Confessions of the Carlsons: February 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Last Thursday evening, Brooks and Emily came over. Cadence was so excited that her behavior can only be described as MANIC. Seriously. Emily asked me if I had given her something unusual to eat. (I hadn't.) Cady. Was off the wall and unfortunately her excitement was channeled into hitting, grabbing, and just all over frightening poor little Brooksie. After multiple time-outs, she settled down for a joint bath. Some peaceful bathtime. While preparing...

Confessions of the Carlsons: Cape Henry - day 2
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2009/06/cape-henry-day-2.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Cape Henry - day 2. Most of day 2 was spent relaxin. On the beach. And don't let these photos fool you, little Miss Cadence had. Warmed up to beach livin. She's cutting all 4 of her canine teeth, so I blame a bit of her mood on that, but I'm afraid the rest may be an indication of a certain ingrained fastidiousness, which I must admit she probably came by naturally (did I mention that I'm not really a fan of sand? June 9, 2009 at 3:32 PM. Weve got tha...

http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010/06/hairpane.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Thursday, June 3, 2010. Our Colorado adventure started today. Emily1 was kind enough to give us a lift to the airport (thanks! And I earned quite a few stares and compliments along the way. My favorite being, "Woo-ee, don't ever let anyone tell you you don't have it together". Thank you stranger behind me in line, I will take your advice to heart. On an airplane. Paying for the extra seat is no fun, but it is heavenly to. À bientôt Maryland. Colorado, here we come! The strang...
