I Want to Go to the Moon. Friday, November 29, 2013. Lisbon day 3 and Porto. Fresh mint and pineapple juice at Nova Pombaline at Rua Madalene and Rua do Comércio. Jardim da Estrela - an extremely beautiful park with many kinds of giant cacti. A walk down a posh street with a stop for terrific pastry at a pastelaria. The wonderful E28 that took me there and back. The Cemitério dos Prazeres. Deserted and a bit scary. Feral cats at the cemetery entrance. Waiting for the train to Porto in Lisbon station.

Nugent Art: Illustrating neon in watercolour - cool trick
http://www.cynthianugent.com/2013/07/illustrating-neon-in-watercolour-cool.html
I Want to Go to the Moon. Sunday, July 7, 2013. Illustrating neon in watercolour - cool trick. I recently went to the launch of the lovely Dream Boats. By Kirsti Wakelin and Dan Bar-el. Kirsti's tour de force illustration was at once a display of fabulous traditional art skills and techie brilliance. After the presentation, I cornered her so I could point at different mystifying sections of her illustrations and ask "how the heck did you do that? Is not that cool? Thank you clever, clever Kirsti Wakelin!
