Backwoods Crazy Quilt: February 2013
http://backwoodscrazyquilt.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Just a photo that popped up on Facebook of my son Josh and his little guy, Nathan, who is being held by his Uncle Jordan. I'll put up a few more for you, Glenn. :D. Jordan is a good uncle. Little Starry, aka Ellie. These were taken on a recent field trip to an aquarium in Dallas. Did we tell you that Josh and his family are moving to Kentucky? Well, I had better go see if Bob needs help with getting hay to the horses. Ahhh, this is the life! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Click on photo to go to Josh's blog.

Not sure if Blogger will delete a blog if it is inactive for too long. So this is just a precautionary post. This blog contains a lot of family history, so I want to keep it here, but my main blogging activity is taking place at Pen and Ink.and maybe some paint. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Backwoods Crazy Quilt: So long since I've posted!
http://backwoodscrazyquilt.blogspot.com/2013/11/so-long-since-ive-posted.html
So long since I've posted! This holiday season will certainly be different than any before for those of us still here on planet Earth. We will try to create new traditions centered even more closely around the real meaning of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am thankful for my wonderful family. All seven of our children and their families have been such a lifeline through all of this. Thank you, Lord, for taking us on through to that great reunion of believers that you've promised in Your Word! Too much inf...

Backwoods Crazy Quilt: A change of scenery tomorrow?
http://backwoodscrazyquilt.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-change-of-scenery-tomorrow.html
A change of scenery tomorrow? We got moved to a private room a few days ago. This is part of the view out of our window. This is the roof of the Catholic church. Looks like a fun place to sit and birdwatch! It will be nice to be home. I'll try to make sure they are taking good care of Bob. It's all I can do right now. So, that's what's happening right now. Bob is pretty quiet and not very perky. Thanks for prayers! Shalom on your day. September 22, 2013 at 5:43 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Backwoods Crazy Quilt: May 2013

I saw this photo on Facebook and had to save it. It tells the whole story! The caption said something like "Two weeks of weather in Minnesota". It's true! And here's a little proof of spring I brought home from my walk the other day. And a couple of glamor shots taken by Micah's photographer friend Flo (who is also married to Micah's taekwondo instructor, Nick Bretz). Micah's girls were playing with Flo's little boy, Dominick, so they weren't all perfectly coifed, but I thought these were good. Another g...

We continue on our way. Bob has been pretty stable and seems to be comfortable and fairly good natured about being in the nursing home. He likes the staff and they are all very sweet to him. One of the CNA's told him that it was generally agreed that they wish all of the residents were like Bob! He asked me today, "Who's changing the baby? I asked, "What baby? Thanks for checking in and shalom! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My son Josh and d-i-l Jess (parents of Nathan and Starry). 8220;All around you, peo...
