De France, Avec Amour. It's the same nicki, but with a paris twist. 21 December, 2007. Finals are done, craigslist here i come! But all i REALLY want to do on my first day of christmas break is craigslist! I've been browsing for 3 minutes and i already found a gem: a spinal decompression chair. the description says this: "Rotates to suspend you upside down from hips, naturally seperating compressed spine." WTF kind of chair is this? Where is the asterisk? IS THIS A FLOATING ASTERISK! 28 hours to take off.

Wine Strikes. Merde. Must be France. Saturday, April 5, 2008. Chris Visit, Part Two: Prague. Continued from previous post. On Wednesday the 26th, Chris and I headed back to Paris to catch our flight to Prague. We got in around 7PM, and after the customs fun and getting bags and figuring out how to get where we were going, we found our hotel around 8PM. First thought: WOW! We paid the same price there as the hotel in Paris- cheap, as both were a bit out of the way, but MAN what a difference! Friday, we se...

Wine. Strikes. Merde. Must be France.: January 2008
http://jeronronne.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wine Strikes. Merde. Must be France. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Smells Like. Snow? I won't have my other BTS class tomorrow for the second week in a row. So I only have one group of premieres. Luckily their prof told me I could re-use the same lessons I used with the group I had last term, so that's less work for me :). I don't think this is what the Italians had in mind. Are you just that hell-bent on taking a cuisine that could veyr well rival your own and sabotage it? But you know what, la France?

Wine Strikes. Merde. Must be France. Friday, February 29, 2008. L'assistante Americaine Sera Bientot L'assistante du Diable! Everyone thinks evil thoughts at some point. It's just a matter of whether or not you act on them that makes the person him/herself actually evil. In that case, my 2 TGRH1 classes are about to think I am on par with the devil in terms of my evilness (is "evilness" even a word? Do you come to my class drunk and/or stoned? Why do the students refuse to participate in her activities?

a la deriva: October 2007
http://souperlindz.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 22, 2007. My world is burning. It's so hard to sit here at work like always, gazing out the window at a wall of windows, and imagine the fire that's burning somewhere moderately near my house in San Diego. Thursday, October 11, 2007. I need someone to fix my shower. It's not like we can live with it like we live with the nonfunctional buzzer and intercom, the clogged dishwasher, and the dripping shower. Wednesday, October 10, 2007. The march of the cold. I'm getting a little worried.

a la deriva: violin lessons
http://souperlindz.blogspot.com/2008/06/violin-lessons.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2008. I spent more time staring at the dark graveyard of desks and dressers and couches and painted arches and picture frames that inhabited the basement outside his workshop than I did squeaking out the parts of songs I could remember after two weeks of not playing, convinced it was the violins that were out of tune and not I.
