Out on a limb | Frenchknitwave
https://frenchknitwave.wordpress.com/2008/06/04/branchingout
Out on a limb. June 4, 2008 at 8:13 pm. This scarf ( Branching Out. It’s a little on the short side – but then again so am I – but I just had to just finish it already. It was a great feeling getting it off the needles finally. And it is quite pretty in person. I’m glad I tackled this lace project, but I don’t think I’ll be making one of these again – at least not any time soon. Entry filed under: uncategorized. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Despite some shortcomings, Baker manages to engage her readers through dazzling and well-crafted prose. The Little Giant of Aberdeen County. Read the rest here. Enter your c...

I am truly pleased with my finished Jaywalkers. The yarn is so bright and colorful, and it was a real treat to watch the colors unfold as I was knitting. The pattern itself was awesome – very well written, easy enough for novice sock knitters, and a great end result. Can you tell I loved this project? It was a breeze and went fairly quick. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. June 4, 2008 at 7:57 pm. Show off: Rue the Day tee. April 21, 2008 at 4:45 pm. Rue the day – in progress. No, I haven’...

The spirit has infinite facets. January 27, 2009 at 4:41 pm. The spirit has infinite facets, but the body. There is the left,. The right, the back, the belly, and tempting. In-betweens, northeasts and northwests,. That tip the heart and soon pinch circulation. In one or another arm. Yet we turn each time. With fresh hope, believing that sleep. I have some catching up to do. November 21, 2008 at 8:07 pm. It’s been ages since I updated this, I know. Has Ravelry killed the need for a knitting blog? I guess not, since I. Do other crafts. In any case, I’ll try to add some entries on projects I’ve completed since the last post over the next couple of days. I’ll finish this tonight or tomorrow and keep it under wraps until Christmas. That is, if I can tear it away from the cat. Entry filed under: knitting. I made a sale! The spirit has infinite facets.

Viral Video Game Blog. And now a brief message from the Rock Band 3 computer. You’ve had me since you picked me up from Wal-Mart on October 26th and it’s been an interesting journey so far. First let me say, thanks for bringing me home! I was getting pretty tired of seeing middle age poor trash pick their nose then pick me up. With that said it’s been really nice being inside your basement. I think a phrase comes to mind “lesser of two evils”. 1 I secretly hate you. 2 I can hear you (THERE IS A MIC DUH!

And crafts and chats and generally mulls over the day. Wednesday, 6 August 2008. I know I know. I love these socks! These are tidal Waves but with some changes, ooo how brave do I feel lol! I made them short socks and carried the pattern down the top of the foot. The Dream in Color Smooshy yarn is so lovely to work with, really soft and the changes in tones are so subtle, will definitely be ordering lots more of this! Good luck with the ralympicavelryrace thing too xx. 8 August 2008 at 00:46.

I hope old friends will find their way over and can live with the fact that it might not be all knitting- don't get me wrong I still love it but I am making time for other things I love to do too! You can find me at Ever a Work in Progress. Have a great weekend! And sew to knit.
Sho knits...: June 2008

And crafts and chats and generally mulls over the day. Sunday, 15 June 2008. I can only own up and say that it has taken so long to post these pictures as I have tried about 200 pictures and cannot take one that doesn't in some way look ridiculous so I have now thrown caution to the wind and gone with "over the top". As for the jacket - well I have to be honest and say I am a bit proud of this. Saturday, 14 June 2008. What a great day this has been! So tell me what made you smile today? I can’t wait.
Sho knits...: How wrong was I!!

And crafts and chats and generally mulls over the day. Wednesday, 27 August 2008. How wrong was I! It seems that by the end there were over 4000 of us taking part in this challenge. Wow that is phenomenol by anyone's standards and a bit shout out to Ravelry and the folks over there that organised it all! On the downside however attempting two projects was a step too far and the scarf is sooooo far from finised lol, maybe by 2012. I think two projects was a bit ambitious! The mitts look great!

Sho knits...: July 2008
http://shoknits.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
And crafts and chats and generally mulls over the day. Tuesday, 22 July 2008. The waving lace socks are finished! Now I loved this pattern and I loved this wool but I would not put the two together again. The lace pattern only needs a solid yarn and this yarn is so gorgeous with the tones that it can be seen to its best in a piece of plain knitting. Now onto the next. Sunday, 20 July 2008. A lovely week with added stash! DS and me - running late as usual! The beautiful hotel where the reception was held.

And crafts and chats and generally mulls over the day. Saturday, 10 May 2008. First socks are done! Yay - I am so happy with these and I was staggered that I managed the toes and heels with no trouble. These are Priscilla's Dream Socks from Favorite Socks. Can't wait to pick which pair to knit next. I can totally see why people say socks are addictive! Thursday, 1 May 2008. I love this pattern. I got the pattern for Saartjes. They are so quick and easy to do and just so sweet too. Blogs I love to hop on.
